They layoff people and work the remaining to the bone and/or start pulling benefits. Agreed they cannot layoff people forever but they will not quit until they reach their absolute breaking point...at which point tons of employees are already affected.So what happens when they lay off people? They lose productivity, and lose profits, so why not just layoff someone everyday until they end up with just the owner left, making huge profits because he doesn't have to pay any salaries? Obviously its not a linear thing, and each additional employee gives less and less marginal benefit, but if they are already over the break even point, they'd have started firing people already
Corp taxes are not a freebie, it will be on the backs of employees
