yeah mikeoftulsa gave a bunch of examples. Everything is different everywhere. Shit gas stations across the street from eachother will have a couple penny difference in price. In MD ill pay $800 for a 1br apartment, in FL $800 will get me a 2br house to rent. There are a ton of mitigating factors to that and of course reasons beyond basic market forces. Is it any wonder energy is that expensive in cali? The market distortions caused by rampant taxation and regulation will have that effect. Also people in cali make more money than those in nc or wv..

And just did a basic search of a jr accounting job on base pay between

orange county ca,

high point ,NC,

Huntington, Wv

NY,NY

the difference in pay for a jr accountant was 12K... 36k in WV,39k in NC,43k in orange county and 48k in NY,NY

so the same job in 4 different parts of the country =1,000.00 a month difference...quite a difference if you ask me...

Mike, I said it was quite a difference, flipx had done research on the ave wage of a blue collar worker across the country and I did some research to find the same job in 4 different parts of the country had a difference in pay of 1,000.00/month But the research was apparently not upto flipx standards as I used an accountant which is not a blue collar worker, then used a jr carpenter and that was not acceptable because i used salary.com for my info so I used his research site of the BLS and found out it was much more then 1,000.00 month it was 1387.00/mth for a construction worker/extracter job...

I also conceded that i was wrong about the electricity, but per the nebraska gov website it shows ave of 9.5/kwhr and high other then alaska/hawaii was 16 and lowest was 5 or 6...Like i said, i was doing the research fast but the numbers are good , research material might not be...Like I have said more then once, it was a general stateement, but i still stand behind it and that is cost of living besides rent/morgage is basically the same across the country and depending on where you live the wage you recieve for the same job will keep the earning to expendature ratio approx the same...I have done everything I can to prove what i am saying isn't a bunch of shit, but no matter what I provide as proof it is considered wrong information...So **** it...let you people believe what you want but I have proven my side of it, noone has given any proof to disprove any of my info...
