hi

im kinda confused as to how the germs work when you bi amp them does that mean you use all 4 channels to run one set of comps.

im thinking of using a Pheonix gold Octane R amp which gives out 75rms x4 would that be good enough for the germs.

is there any advantage of bi amping them and im looking for clear and loud vocals from my comps would these be upto the task or should i buy sume CDT Eurosports

thanks

Yes, you'll need 4 channels to biamp. Biamping allows you to individually set the gains for both the mids and tweets so you can blend them better to your liking.

75x4 should do it, but Germs can take a beating, so running an amp that ouputs up to 150-200x4 would be fine if you want to go that direction in the future.

Yeah what Deja said. 2 channels to each crossover...

whats the sound like on the germs, i want some comps that will give a nice crisp vocal so i had my eyes on the CDT Eurosports which people say give crisp and loud vocals

For crisp vocals and highs, how about you bridge that amp and run a set of Powerline CMX? Right, Latina33? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Yeah man, I'd totally recommend a set of the Powerline CMX 265's....they come with the CAL25 titanium tweet, and it's nice and crisp and clear, but not TOO bright like some metal tweets can be. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fro.gif.c695f1f814b01c4ad99fe7f8cccadd29.gif

so let me get this correct the CMX 265 will give a good clear vocal, would they handle 250rms per side, also how do the CMX 465 sound.

also the eurosports retail for much more then the CMX 265 i would guess that would make the sound better wouldnt it
