Bi-amp or not?

So recently my JL 300/2 went kapoot and I am now in the process of buying a Zapco Reference 360.4. Before I was pushing 150 W into a set of CDT HD 6.5 comps with the upgraded tweeters and x-overs. Now with the Zapco I have the option of bi-amping (I think) these comps and bypassing the passive x-over. I need to look up the ohm ratings on the tweeters, but I think it is doable. What are the advantages (disadvantages?) of switching to full active in front? My HU is a Eclipse 8445 so I cant go full active with just the HU x-overs, but I have no issue using the ones on the Zapco anyway. At the moment I run no sub (yeah sue me) and no rear fill.

IMO you get higher quality sound when bi-amping... go for it
Not inherently. Unless you really desire that extra control over your set of components, there is no reason to biamp. The passive x-over has been designed specifically for those drivers to work best. Going active will give you control over that point, but unless you really know what you are doing, you wont get any "higher quality sound", just spending lots of money for diminishing returns. (or none or even negative returns if you dont know exactly what you're doing)

with the right processing, it is well worth the extra time spent tuning.
