4 18" RE MT, thinking of lowering my tunning

i am currently letting them play in a 24cube wall tunned at 35 hz, well i think i am gonna tune down to 28hz instead. I think it will sound alot better for daily. im not worried about the loss of overall output, i just really want this thing to be a ground pounder,

any idea's. I know because of the wall the wave lengh does not have as much time to develop so it will never sound "as deep" as a normal up firing /crx style SUV box.

just looking for any input

I couldn't agree with this statement more. You are absolutely right about the wave not having time to fully develop. By tuning lower you may in essence have a deeper (more daily) type of sound even though the wave still, theoretically, does not have time to fully develop.

I wouldn't tune any lower than 30hz daily... I just don't see the point.

Make sure to get the EXACT NET volume you need, and take into account the EXACT port displacement including the MDF used on the port itself. I had my uberwoofer box tuned at 24, and it peaked at 29.

I think you should tune them at 26
