Hello All,
New here and found forum looking for an answer/solution to my problem.
I have a ford focus that has a factory fitted sub which is basically pants...
The signal it receives is low frequencies from a built in crossover in HU.
I installed an amp that uses high input directly off the original feed as the HU does not have low output RCA. Plus I wanted to utilise the original wiring to save running any extra.
So basically I am bi-amping the low tones from the HU that plugged directly into the un-amped original sub.
The new amp and sub work fine but when using the cars feed nothing comes from the sub.
Am I missing something?
Why can't I bi-amp the low frequency high output feed?
I hope I made sense?
Many thanks in advance
