I purchased the two HDC3 subs from him off his thread http://www.caraudio.com/forums/subwoofer-classifieds/608952-soundqubed-hdc3-15s.html last Wednesday. He gave me his number before I paid to answer some of my questions (in which he replied instantly every time) and acted like he was going to ship that day. Since then I have texted him three times and messaged him through ca.com asking about the subs and tracking info all with no reply from him. I think I have given him plenty of time to ship the subs and reply back to be. I have all text and pm's saved.

For others this has happened to what is the best way to go about this through PayPal as this is a first for me and would like to get my money back

 
I think he was the guy who was moving to san antonio from somewhere here in texas.

Might wanna give him a little more time. I do not know him, but by the looks of it he needed the money to move and i am sure he will respond.

 
Yeah he seemed like a nice guy and I have not took any action yet just mostly posting up to see what you guys have to say, but you would think he could at least text me back or something

Well if you feel you have been cheated or there could be an issue, start a claim with paypal and if he responds then tell them you 2 will resolve it and find out why he has not responded to you.

If he does not respond then you deserve your money back. If you somehow receive the subs after a full refund you can always do the right thing and return the money.

If that were to happen I would for sure return the money. I mean I would rather get the subs than my money back. I will at least wait till tomorrow if not Thursday before I start doing anything with Paypal. I feel as if even if he could not text me he could at least get online and pm me

 
If he really is moving, I could imagine that it would be hard to find internet.. I don't know about texting though.. Doesn't seem that hard to text somebody unless he's doing a lot of driving back and forth.

A fair amount of time to ship is 5 business days.. Once that has passed an no product or contact with him I would start a claim and be happy you get your money back and forget about the subs..

 
I beleave these were on ebay also I think I seen them just the other day... just looked them up and there still on ebay also:/ 20 hours left same sub pics as his ca ad.... gl bro seem really sketchy now... search hdc3 there right there...
Yep you're right..17 hours left on them and I just looked up his local Craigslist of where it says he lives on his profile and they are still on there too

 
So I was watching where it was listed on eBay and it went off, didn't sell, and now it has been listed again for 3 days left. I started the PayPal process hoping to get my money back
