The pioneer, yes, im biased

I dont like clarion and the Alpine is not my top pick either

It has a voltage meeter on it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

The alpine...

I work at CC, and we carry the Pioneer on display. Nice unit, I just personally don't like the controls on it. The Clarion is also a nice unit, installed one for a buddy...but again I don't like the controls //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

So, for me it'd be Alpine.

Clarion stands well behind mobile video/hu's. Also cd changers. There subs NO! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif

I have the 655MP, it has alot more goodies than what crutchfield says. Screensavers/ LED light/alarm blinking light behind faceplate. MaxiTune Radio, ect. ALOT of settings. Plus SQ is GREAT.

I got mine for 200 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif . If u can get it lower than MSRP. GO FOR IT. I had alpine hu's before but clarion's got my back.

I have a old Clarion RDB355D (1997). (MSRP'd 500$) that was way the hell better than last years Alpine-9825. The sad thing was the RDB didnt have outputs so I had to wire a Line-out converter.

Even with the converter the RDB owned that alpine in SQ, hands down. The bass was even better with the line out, and I expected the RCA's to do better //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif o well, n theres my story.

Go Clarion.
