best wiring option for setup

Ok i have 2 4 ohm dvc 12" subs (GT120D) and the kenwood 2 ch 800 watt amp. what is the best way to wire these to subs, to get the most power out of my amp? anyone feedback is appreciated.

i have mine subs wired series, then parallel to the amp. correct me if im wrong but on each sub connect a + to a - opposite of each other then wire corrisponding to the amp + to + - to -. that should make the subs into 8ohms series then back to 4ohm parallel, then bridge the channels. there should already be something around here that explains it better.

Supposing that it is a 2 channel amp and its is able to handle 2ohm stereo. I would wire each woofer in parallel so you read a 2ohm load, then hook each woofer to its own channel.
