Best way to paint rims?

Well, my tires **** in the snow and I need to go back to stock wheels and tires. Cause currently I have flotation tires.

So..... my stock rims are just standard silver jeep rims

What should I do???

Dont paint rims - powdercoat or anodize

They are still in storage, but i'm pretty sure they are these

I know a girl who has a Jeep with the same wheels. I painted them black for her with black wheel paint. I just washed them , dried them well with compressed air, wiped them down with acetone, covered the tires with newspaper, then primer, and paint. they turned out great.

Just powdercoat them if you plan on having them on every winter.

The wear and tear will take a toll on them in the winter with just painted rims. I have seen it many times with my dumbass friends.

I guess if you don't care about them peeling and what not, then go for it.

You don't paint winter rims, you rock the black powder coat w rust accents fool!

Rust adds character IMO.
