I personally like sealed over ported. I guess im a bit more of an SQ than SPL guy though

Ported sounds just as great as sealed, you can tune low, much more output over sealed, for far less money

your right but i have the subs and a small car. i cant do a wall in my car, so 4 12s sealed is what i want. all up or 2 back and 2 up would b better. my ssd broke yesterday so need a little bass

Definetely try and keep them all on the same baffle if you have the room. Why not port all 4?

cleaner bass? No. Cheaper, yes. Id say ported just cause it would be louder off only 300 watts. But it is easier and cheaper to make a sealed box if its a temp box. Subs all on the same baffle for sure...

its 1200 watts worth of subs, i have a sundown1200d. i can wire to 2 ohms or .5ohms doing all up in my hatch im trying to get my box out soon.
