Best way to get 2-3k watts at 2 ohms?

SO. I just recently picked up an Orion HCCA 15.4.... I was wondering what would be the best way to power it. Also, the necessary electrical upgrades? I was thinking maybe just a Kinetik 2400 or something up front would be enough?? And a big 3? Anyone wanna recommend an amp and how to support it.. Thanks!

Or you could get a 6k+ amp that does 3k+ @ 2 ohms... but it def wouldn't be cheap but it would set you up for your next build. =D

Your going to need more than just a good battery up front and the big 3. If you want to run that much power you have to beef up your electrical or your going to be destroying equipment left and right. I'd say at the minimum an HO alt and 2 good batts, if your going up to 3kw I'd say 3 batts.

I have about 4500 watts , I only have a 220amp alt an XS D3400 and a D2700 in back. I have a voltage mater and If I am driving I am at a consistant 14.2-14.4 but idling... i drop to low 12's even once 11.9. I am definitely getting another batt to for your case I would suggest upgrading your front and adding a Big rear batt, even two if you plan to listen at idle alot.

Yeah I feel like my one fi BL 12 might hit comparably to this one.... So.. two amps strapped?? I wanna stay away from getting a new alt if possible.... Limited space up front for a large battery too... nearly challenged int he back for space. Drive a 98 contour. Thanks for the help guys, keep posting!

your going to need a ho alternator just get it save time and money on breaking your **** and be happy
