--Tried an actual cd repair kit; Blew asian diseases

--Used car cleaner wax, did alot better, but cd still freezes.

--Used Meguires Liquid shine finishing wax, still freezes.

At this point, I'm wondering what to do. I could hit it with another shot of car cleaner wax, but it adds some of those fine scratches that, while better than large scratches and splotches, still can't be good. And I'm almost done with Need for Speed Carbon too! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blackeye.gif.66a1670f5aaf7f406e783a63e3387dc5.gif

More importantly, if do hit it with another shot of car cleaner wax, what eliminates those fine scratches?

Thanks in Advance.

I thought the lead was what was physically altered during the burn-in process. Nero says this as it is completing a fresh burn.

I believe we have a local gamestop, but do you think they would have game restoration?

And, not sure as it is April, But I'd assume the toothpaste would add scratches due to flouride and the grit they use, pumice I believe?

If gamestop doesn't fix games, they should sell a thing there that you put the cd in and it resurfaces the plastic layer.

Already have a fully automated unit. The problem is that it does not add enough pressure, and if I manually add some pressure, the little motor can't handle it. I'm thinking of just taking a high speed hand grinder, throwing on a buffing wheel, and having at it for a few minutes //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

No shiat, Couple years ago my madden 02 would not work so I put toothepaste all over and rubbed it in good and put it in the next day and wouldnt work.........So I was like whatever and put it back in the case and a couple days later my cousin took it out to play it and it worked perfectly and never had a problem out of it since

Just my 7 cents
