best wattage for 15" kicker

I'm about to buy a 15" kicker, CWD 152 or 154

I saw an amplifier Quantum Audio QXA1500.1D that could be interresting

1500Watt at 1ohm or 750Watt at 2 ohms

the problem is, if I want to connect it at 2 ohms I have to buy the 154 if I want to connect at 1 ohm I have to buy the 152

the sub is rated at 600W RMS so at 2 ohm should be sufficient, but it could still clip.

at 1500W RMS the amp would work much less, but it could be dangerous if it peaks.

what's the best option?

1 ohm. The quantum doesnt do any where near 800 actual watts let alone 1500. Set the gains properly and you should be fine
