Best type of speaker wire connectors/terminals?

All I know of is the crimp connectors and I don't like them. Not all of the speaker wire strands are in contact with the connector so there must be a better type of connector to use. Just solder the wire to the crimp connector instead of crimping?

Use a crimp terminal and solder the wire in also.
