Best Sub's for Tight/Clean/Punchy Bass JL 10W3v3 or Alpine Type R or Kicker Q Help-

I'm looking at doing a box with 2 10's in the back of the new Mustang. Each sub will have ab out .88 air space. I'm looking for great subs that sound nice and clean not boomy.

The 3 Subs I'm looking at are

JL 10W3v3

Alpine Type R

Kicker Comp Q

What do you guys think would be best for this set up? Mounting depth is 7".

Budget? I would do either two sundown SA8s or 2 sundown E8s in .88each... I wouldn't put a 10 in this that small

None of the above, stop shopping local unless you got a hook up or it's a dealer only brand.

The box makes the bass. If the box is wrong a $4500 woofer will sound terrible.

If the box is right a $100 woofer will sound fantastic.

Which box do you already have? I prefer at least 1 cube for a sealed 10.

Should have got the 8in version. Maybe a SSA DCON.

what amp are u running? look at dayton ho subs.. but the dcon is a real good option depends on power..

Why don't you give a amp budget and let a few of use find you a better and cheaper amp.

thats a horrible design especially for a mustang. @CSCStang knows how to get clean punchy loud bass in his mustang, he's a metal listener so yeah has to have killer punch and the box you have right now is not gonna deliver at all. yuck.

I'd go with some Dayton HO 10s or Sundown E 10s with that sized airspace available.
