best sub/subs for use in 1.6-1.7cf max space price no concern?

I just fiberglassed a box in my wheel well of my scion xa and it came out awsome. Using packing peanuts for rought volume est. I get about 1.6-1.7cf I was going to put my 3 re8 8in subs in it and port it tuned to 35hz or use 4 of the re8's and do sealed but I would love a true top end sub that would rock in this sapce and give some rreal 'throw'

max mounting deapth is 8in so speaker will ahve to be inverted if deaper than that so also if i invert it i wont have to suvbtract speaker displacement in the box calculation

I could prob do 2 jl w7 8s sealed, lol but im not sure 2 w7 8's will out do 4 re8's as they already scream in a wood box i used to have them in 'tho it was ported and tuned ot 34hz'. I can drop about $700max for subs.

For power I have 2 1000-1200w amps that do clean power 'class a/b amps' so not a ton of power but alot for cleam but load SQ bass im after

I can say 4 re 8s are pretty decent, not spl loud but decently loud for daily boom.
