That TREO sub is at least an SSi or higher line. For $200, that's a steal, esp if it's the SSX in which case you're stupidly retarded if you pass up. Judging by the power he has for it and the description of 2500 watts, it's an SSX. Buy it then sell it to me, ****...Just get it.

so how much more sq and spl would the treo have over a 15 kicker l5?

cause i got a deal for that for 160 in a 5 cubic foot box

What rosrock said. The SQ between the 2 are night and day (IMO) and the SPL you'll get out of the TREO vs the L5 is no contest. TREO all the way. How about this, you buy the TREO SSX from that guy for $200 and if you're not happy you wouldn't have any troubles getting over twice that of what you paid selling it on ebay.

Then you should still get it. I doubt it's the CSX as he states 2500 watts handling which the SSX is rated at, the CSX has no rating. It's strictly an SPL woofer. If you find it's not what you want sell it for even more then what you could get for the SSX.

Yes, 90% of what has been listed are very good for daily drivers. IMO, you blew it. $200 for the SSX, and you went w/Kicker and their L5's. The Kickers are OK, but that's where it stops, at OK. I had a gen 1 L712S, it was nice and sounded really good too (yes, they can sound good) and the output was decent. Then I heard TREO's a few years later and was sold. The SSX will still outdo the 2 L5 in my opinion.

Now I understand it's your money, and you can do with it as you please, but you ask for our help and thoughts, and you went your own way.

na man i havent bought anything yet, just putting up another deal i saw.

but after talking to the dude more i found out its a csx

It's spec'ed at 1200 watts and you could give it more w/o issue ~2500 watts, but it will take something in the 5k watts area for burps. The only sub TREO makes that's more extreme is the CXT, 20k burps.
