BEST SQ sub with 500rms @ 2ohm

I want a single SQ subwoofer that needs 500rms @ 2ohm. I will most likely run both sealed and ported to see which i like better. I like the IDQ 10" v.3.
Do you guys think there is a better subwoofer out there for lets say under $350?
Noooooo. The sub you picked is plenty linear and clean, you won't find better in the price range but you might want a 12" so it goes lower (depending on how you like your sound)

the cheapest idmax is $450

the cheapest 10" w6 i can get is $380

i cant find the idq 12" v.3 anywhere

AND My 15" IDQ only has one working vc

So should i go with another 15" IDQ v2 or the 10" IDQv3?

just start one man its easy and those prices are better than anything you will find, believe me. when i was shopping around for an IDMax or IDQ ebay was 25% cheaper at least
i am 17y/o i understand that you need a checking account or credit card to create an account and i dont have either. My parents wont even let me use theirs so i think i am out of luck.

REALLY WHAT DO YOU THINK WOULD BE BETTER 1 10" IDQv3 or 1 15" IDQv2?

I have heard the v3s are better than the v2s, I have not heard (v2) so I cannot comment. Do you prefer a bump/thump sound? Or do you like ultra low sound? If #1 go with the 10 - it will still get low but not as low as the 15" which is also a v2. I wouldn't recommend the 15 personally, its a v2 and I like the way 10s sound more so thats my answer. I've also noticed 15's cause a shitload of resonance and a rattle

I just did a pair of 10 IDQv.3's ported in an 08 Chevy crew cab. I have a Cadence ZRS 7000D 1000watts RMS powering the subs. I'm not 100% certain what the specs are on the enclosure as I had it build by a local shop. I did a quick measurement just to see. I plugged in the numbers and looks like did 1.5 cubes per sub with the 4 inch round port just under 20 inches. Looks like the Sub data sheets calls for 1.5cu ft for Audiophile enclosure. ...But it sounds incredible!! I have had ID's, IDQ's and several other setups. So far I'm very impressed with these new subs. After seeing them released, I had a strong feeling these were going to be really good... But they are in fact awesome! I dont believe the 12's are shipping yet. You may want to try to call ID next week to see if they have shipped any.
