Best sounding mids & tweets ??

Have '06 Toyota Avalon and would like to upgrade stereo. I have in years past always used (for some reason) Alpine head units, and Rockford Fostgate speakers, subs and amps. Liked everything but sound of RF mids & tweets. I am a quality over quantity listener. (Home audio - I love sound of Klipsch speakers if that helps) I just can't believe how many brands in audio now...its been awhile. Any help or suggestions is much appreciated. How do some of the "cheaper" companies products compare?? At this point I would like to keep stock head unit, would like a Kicker L7 12" sub......that's where I am at. Need ideas for amps, mids tweets. Thanks to all.

FOCAL, Moral, and a/d/s get my vote.... have personaly heard all three.... Love the sound of focal...

Focal, Rainbow, Morel, Hertz, Dynaudio, Seas etc...

When you get that high end like those brands, theyre all excellent excellent speakers, it just matters what your ears and personal preference likes!
