when you search limewire just organize your search by bit rate and find all 320kbps songs.

It depends on the track and the original recording. There are 320kb/s songs that sound terrible because of either ripping method or multiple conversions. I also have some **** good sounding 112k tracks. When you start lowering the bitrate below 320kb/s (and even at that rate), you start to cut out the higher frequencies (not lower like some people claim) and you also get some artifacts that show up in the sound that make it less and less crisp.

If you start with a decent recording, it's very difficult to tell the difference in 192 and 320, even in very dynamic tracks. At 128, I can notice a difference. Going from lossless to 320 or 192 is a little different though and I can notice a difference almost every time.

Here is an example from a song that was ripped from a CD at 320kb/s and then was re-ripped into 192 and then 128. I chose the same small section of the song to play but it is a pretty well rounded track. I was able to guess the 320 track but I messed up between the 128 and 192.

i can hear a difference too myself, but i was just wondering cuz some songs i get from limewire still sound really good w/out having a 320 bitrate.
