Been shopping around online, and since my ebay auctions are all ending tonight, the time is approaching to choose my new setup.
I was debating between going back to 12" type-x's, but i decided i'm gonna give 15" type-r's a shot, and see if i can't get the lows i loved with the x's, with a bit more output with a bigger driver.
I'm selling all of my equipment, minus my head unit, so i want to get matching amplifiers.
The subwoofer amplifier will be pushing two 15" type-r's.
The component amp will be pushing 2 10" aurum cantus woofers, 2 morel dome midranges, and 2 morel horn loaded tweets. (yes, i'm going passive.... my budget wont allow me to go active until next summer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif )
Anyways, i want my gear to match this time around, so here's a few choices i've narrowed it down to. I only have a 240A alternator, so i know i wont be able to max out the sub-amps i've chosen, but i want some overhead, so i don't have to buy a new amplifier next summer if i decide to re-up.

Comparisons should be based on $ for $ value, quality, reliability, and (most importantly) efficiency............
I realize i wont be able to max out either setup with my current 240A alty, but which one will give me more bang for my buck with what i've got? And which one would you go with?
I have no experience with the MA audio stuff, but have heard they're inefficient. But i've also heard the same thing about the opti's, although i had an opti2000D back in the day, which was NUTS.
Any advice would be helpful!!!
Thanks!
