Best port placement for crew cab truck??

OK I built a really nice console box for the back seat of my crew cab at 4.33CF and tuned it to 40Hz and am running 3, 4" aeros port up right now and sub up at an angle toward the front and I am running 3500 watts (measured with the DMM) to it RMS. I want to know how to make it louder in this vehicle as it seems like it should be louder, I only have a cheap Radio shack DB meter but it only reads 124db??? What the Fu@#! I don't get it, this thing should be bangin for that kind of power and sub?? Any Ideas?? Should I get another 4" port? what do I do?

Thanks!

That will help huh? I was thinking of doing that, I figure I could cap the top off and put them in the sides, you think the 40Hz is good for the AQ? I was trying to make it loud and then let it go below the tuning for the lows when I want to play music.. What is better, the back or side for the crew cab?

The seat is out but I am planning on putting bucket seats in the back later. What about a baffle over the ports to help port loading and then kerf it toward the back window?? I have seen "loading boxes" before, could this work? It would be easy to do just to try I guess..

Everything is now underneath platform so now I can do almost anything. I have about 60x(20-26) inches of surface area to work with.

You should be louder than that, I have 2 500watt 12s and a 1000watt amp in my reg cab F-150. 4.05 cu ft tuned to 34hz and I have shook everything loose in my truck. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif. My truck is close to 144db. The fuse door comes off, I broke a windshield wiper and It poped off the tilt lever formy steering wheel.

i call //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/bsflag.gif.21f42eccd34b7d1eb1608fb1b59b69c3.gif 144db maybe, but on 1k watts and breaking windshield wipers and poped the tilt lever dont think so those are some stiff things or esle u have a faulty truck or its not the one in your pic and a 1950f150 lol
