Best Plunge Router to use with Jasper Jig

Certainly not top of the line, but its held up very well for me and I use it quite often.

i have a black and decker with a jasper (the large one) and it works quite nicely. about $80 at menards.

I know you don't have to, but the couple I have used are plunge and makes it just so much easier....

Model #'s would be VERY helpful!

I have used the shit out of my Ryobi Plunge router. RE180-1PL is the model number. I picked it up when it was on sale for $99 from HD. Im gonna say I have cut between 3-500 circles with it, and its still going strong.

any router should work as long the holes match

what ever you do do not get the Skill router like I got....

it has been used to build about 40 or so boxes and it

is almost worn out..the head and the base do not fit

together tight any more and if I am not extreamly carefull

the holes will be out up to 1/8"...

it's a peice of crap

Any Porter Cable 890 series. Last router you'll ever need to buy.

The 690 and 890 series routers work with all Jasper jigs.

I'd say Porter Cable, my dad's a carpenter, builds cabinets mostly. He has 12+ routers all Porter Cable.
