Best place to buy JL Audio Sub?

I'm going to purchase a JL 8w1v2 sub, but not quite sure where I should buy from. The local shop is super high on their stuff, and they don't carry the 8" subs. They are on eBay for $75 shipped, and Crutchfield for $100+shipping. I know JL only honors warranty from authorized dealers, but I'm wondering if it's worth the extra $30. Anywhere else that has a good deal on JL and you can trust them?

I would say go with ebay honestly. I always go for the lower price when shopping.

Set your gains properly and dont distort the sub and you wont need the warranty.

go to your local retailer and haggle with him, lots of shops are slow now days and will cut deals.

I ended up making my purchase from Crutchfield. I got the sub and amp both as open box items, and that combined with free shipping made the pricing very close to the non-authorized retailers I've looked at (i.e. sonicelectronix). Thanks for the input!
