Best place to buy a laptop???

I am almost done with school (year and half left) and haven't had to pay a cent for college. I decided to take out a student loan to have a little fun, pay off my credit cards and just enjoy a year while still working. I want to buy a good laptop that will handle alot of daily use. Not a big gamer but do use my computer quite often. On my desktop I run a p4 2 ghz, 756 MB and it's pretty good but I want to beat that on my laptop.

if you have a sams club around your place they are really good and cheap w/ stuff like that but u need to be a member......its like costco except owned by walmart

i own all hp's, desktop and laptop; and they haven't let me down. i bought my laptop from compUSA . just make sure ya get warranty w/ whatever it may be

I bought an Alienware Area 51 a couple months ago and have no complaints. I recomend anything but a Sony Vaio. The battery life on my old Vaio was 30 min.
