best overall

my dad gave me quite a lot of money for moving(a little bribe). i want to get a really good system and i would like to keep it all the same brand. what is a great overall brand or who has the best parts if i dont keep it the same.

your best choice would be to not go with all the same brand. but if you really wanted to.....id say alpine might be the best overall. Pioneer Premier might be up there too.

If you want to go with the same brand for EVERYTHING, then I say look at Eclipse.

If you just want same brand of subs and amp, then look at RE, ED, MMATS, JL...

thats a dumb idea, not one company makes the best of everything. here are some qulity brands that make evrything you need. but all have a weeknesses in a area

rockford fosgate

kenwood

pioneer

pioneer preimier

eclipse

clarion

alpine

If you want to do everything one brand, look into Alpine.

Obviously their HU's are top quality, their amps are top quality, and their speakers will hold their own.

Going all one brand isn't necessarily a bad choice, but it may not be the best. Who cares though. If you install all your stuff properly, it will sound decent anyways.

Made by same company as Eclipse. They're fine head units.

no point in using same brand speakers, not like you see them. Sometimes a HU and amp of the same is nice cause they are compatible in ways. Ide also say eclipse, although you'll be dishing out a nice wad of money for all of it. I'de say, go with same brand amp and subwoofer, then a pioneer/alpine/eclipse HU.

search the forum for who has the best sub for you. There are subs out there for SPL, SQ, large enclosures, small enclosures, low end, high end etc etc etc...

infinity, amps are hard to find but i have an all infinity system except Hu. just my opinion
