I know a little about this subject...........

I really can't put either above the other. They all show their progression in the music, but since one has to be picked, I saw Aquemini. ANd that's a tough *** choice over Southernplayalistic, or ATLiens..........DAMM.

I chose Aquemini because to me is had the best production. The beats were unmatched. You can listen to it almost all the way through without skipping a song. It might be like 1 or 2 that I don't care for.

So the answer is there is no "Best" outkast album. But to me Aquemini is the closest.

And Flip, they are better than WuTang Clan. I say that because of the consistency of the music. Wu put out a great debut album, then the first Method Man, Ghost, Rae and ODB album were classics. Second Wu could have been a great single CD, and the second round of solos minus Ghost weren't that good. From first album to last album and even the guess appearances (Intl. Player's anthem) have solidified their spot. I put them above any group doing it. Yeah Even NWA when they were NWA.

I can tell you why, the double CD was mainstreamed and is one of three records to ever go diamond...EVER, thats why, Also, Andre 3000s single CD basically carried it to diamond, With a few Big boi singles i think, or was it just one? (Eg:The way she moves)

Nope. The answer is *drumroll* because the album was shit and people love overplayed shit.
