Best LOC

I have a stock headunit which I want to keep, however I'm going to be running an MTX 1501d (sub), MTX Thunder 502 (components), and MTX Thunder 4202 (rear fill) amps to a 15" TC-3000 or TC-2000, Rainbow Germanium components, and focal rear speakers, I'm going to have some nice equipment and don't want a stock hu to take away from the sound. So what would the better buy be, JL Audio Cleansweep, Audio Control LC8, or Rockford Fosgate 3sixty.1? Would it also be best to purchase an EQ along with one of these or would it be a waste of time without much knowledge in tuning? Thanks

The only thing I don't like about the cleansweep is the volume control, but if the cleansweep is the best option then I can sacrifice my steering wheel controls. Anyone with experience on these items?

For the same money you can have a head unit that is superior. Ditch the rears while you are at it to help fund your new purchase.

everygood system starts with the nucleus (HU). why have all that good equipment and not get the best sound in the first place?

The reason I don't want a HU is because the factory 6-cd changer looks clean with my interior and I like my steering wheel controls (i know there's adapters for that). If I get an upgrade it'll be an in-dash cd/dvd player one of those flush one's but I don't have the money for that right now. Would it be a big difference going with one of those LOC's over a nice HU?

Mod the HU to get some preouts then. Don't let the stock power amps touch your signal.

Sorry i'm bumping this thread again because I still don't know which LOC would be best to use. Anyone with experience on the cleansweep, 3sixty.1, or LC8?

I'm also changing my mind a little with my setup. It'll be MTX 1501D powering a TC-2000 (when I can afford it), MTX Thunder 502 to my Germaniums, and my Power Acoustik A600-4HP to power 7 or 8" daytons and my rear fill or I might just get rid of my rear fill.
