Best Ipod compatability (besides alpine)

I have an Alpine 9857 and want something new, ive been lookin at the new pioneer, kenwood and clarion stuff.. i would like a video unit, but it would be okay if its not. The main thing i use it with is my ipod, so i was wondering:

what would be the fastest ipod controlling head unit (besides the alpine)

The clarion video units aren't bad, and they'll let you watch the videos stored on your Ipod.
