Best HID Kits?

retro-fit your current halogen projectors with HID based projectors.
i don't know if you could get away with just swapping the lens but the spacing/lenght of the cut off sheild, projector reflector, and lens may end you with a bad result.
...without spending much money. I looked into the retro fit, and I'm not sure if I want to invest that kind of time and money into them.

So you guys are saying you need to change out the whole light lens housing everything for them to work correctly? Not arguing I just dont know anything about HID's
NO! People prefer to upgrade to projector style headlights for a more uniform and even light output, that doesn't blind people. However, you still can use HIDS in standard type headlight housings. The trick is aiming them correctly. You might have to aim them down a bit more, and they may not be as perfect and uniform, but they still are going to provide you excellent lighting performance if aimed and used correctly. Projector headlight housings are better, but sometimes a person cannot afford projectors. Or sometimes a projector type headlight housing does not meet the persons taste or likes as far as look.

i want the yellow tint, by the way.
if you are serious just look for some yellow tinted vynil and overlay it on your head lights. or get a yellow temperature hid kit.

if you are not serious then you can just drink a lot of vitamin C and pee on the head light. let it dry and yellow tint for the frees

My friend just bought some from the VVME site and they look pretty good

Ill prolly got with the DD site, some 4300s for low beam and 3000s for fogs

You can think what you want. It all depends on the housings. Yes, some, no matter what, will provide hideous, blinding, glare. Others will not have that glare if aimed lower. I am specifically talking about for my application (Durango) because I have seen someone do it without projectors and does not have glare.
