Best head units for under 300.00

Looking to upgrade from my Alpine 9813. I dont know much about head units. All i know is that Alpine is not bad. Any other brands as good or better that look nice. Has to have good eq features too.

I dont know if it matters but im trying to run 3 amps, 4 - 6 speakers & an ipod.

Wow thats cool. The ipod adaptor for my alpine is like 100.00 by itself

Also, are these good sound quality hu's?? When i changed from a sony to an alpine, the sound quality was noticeably better. I just dont want to take a step backwards.

Also, i dont see "subwoofer output" and "USB Interface" as one of the features even tho the lower model kenwood has it.
