yep. PLC is also a good cheap adhesiveindustrial grade subfloor adhesive...either General Electric or Dap brands.
^^^^^^^^^ agreed x2dont use anything other than a dedicated WOOD GLUE for bonding WOOD to WOOD.
dont use construction adhesive or liquid nails or any of that crap. wood glue has been proven to be stronger. period.
There is no actual correct answer if you want to get down to brass tacks of it.wow im suprised no one has given the correct answer yet....
Titebond Molding and Trim glue is your best bed, it is designed for materials like MDF that would like to absorb the glue hence it is much thicker. Also because it is thicker also makes it so it wont run...

try the loctite stuff, its ftw and cheaper than titebond, also the bottle is much cooleri did the same by gluing 1x2's end to end. i pretty much got the same results from titebond 2, titebond 3, and elmers.
Subfloor adhesive IS made for wood to wood use. It bonds OSB plywood to joists(made of 2x4's), so I don't see how you think it's a bad thing to use. Not to mention it also is able to bond FRONZEN and/or WET wood...that's hardcore stuff right there. I've compared it to some Titebond products and the subfloor adhesive by Dap is better...from my experience. Hardens quicker, also.dont use anything other than a dedicated WOOD GLUE for bonding WOOD to WOOD.

x2it's more about the preference of what glue someone likes to use and the results they had using it.
