//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif I have to Pioneer DVC 12" Subs in a bandpass, plexi. What would you say is the best firing position for those subs. I have them in the back of a 99' 4-door GMC Yukon. I currently have them firing towards the rear, but have been hearing things about having them fire up. Any input into the matter ?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fart.gif.9285a21c4a53b1a914c9dedbfcf9d894.gif

To phat tony, and lakota, "Don't be a couple of little Bi****s, it was a simple question to see if anyone had some good advice, or things they have tried. My box I have now does the job just fine, was just curious,

"Di**s".

You're not going to get ANY help for ANYONE with that sorta attitude.

Sounds like you have a blinged-out cheap prefab bandpass box. I would recommend you buying a better box that doesn't just fart out one bass note.

Until then, feel free to experiment with different ways of pointing your subs... I can guarantee you won't notice much of a difference.

good way to start off here, like everyone says, turn it yourself, there is no way for us to know what your subs sound like in your box without hearing it ourselves...........

if we would have told you it sounded better turning it would you have?..............

I would not have turned it. I like this forum, due to the input that I receive from readind various threads, and getting replies to my own. I sent this out to see what people would say that they have done, or tried in the past. I have been working with stereo's for years. I like to know what else is out there, and if anythingis out there that I have not learned yet, ya know.

Thanks though, thanks for the input people.

Any thoughts on a new box.....I would really appreciate any idea's on a new box design.
A properly built ported one. Or a sealed one. You can buy some MDF at home depot and build it your self. Get the plans on this forum and give it a whirl.

What sound do you expect from your subbase?
