I am looking for the best fiber optic cable for my Alpine H701, I was thinking the Monster M-Series cable? What do you think?
there's a huge difference if you have a quality set of speakers to hear the difference...Any old cable will be fine. Monster is over priced. And you will most likely hear no difference between them and a 10 dollar cable.
Seriously?there's a huge difference if you have a quality set of speakers to hear the difference...of course in a great acoustical environment like my recording studio the difference is night and day between a cheap thin hosa litepipe cable vs the apogee... the apogee is much more open sounding with ease, wider dynamic range, dead quiet... i've a/b'd the difference with ppl that dont even have a trained ear with my Jbl and Adam monitors... anyone can hear the difference...
in a car stereo environment it MAY not as prevalent but it just may....???
kinda how someone says they have a $10 mic cable and they wonder why their mic does have a open sound vs my zarola cables... wires DO make a difference.
The triple shielded monster cables i have in my truck sound a hell of a lot better than the rca's the installers used not to mention they're -60db rating is great, no more hiss issue or alt noise
i welcome you to come to my recording studio or i can take you to **** near any major recording studio in the world and the difference in cables is a big difference.I still have to disagree with you on the fiber optic cable.
A digital signal is a digital signal. 1s and 0s are 1s and 0s. It either works or it doesnt.
Any difference you notice is all in your head.
i was sure i just mentioned that i actually have the philips cables.short runs and 30foot runs... so i've used the cheap and the quote on quote best... there is a difference...optical, xlr, rca, 1/4, guitar cables, patch cables...after getting the supposedly 'best'... go out and get some cheap shit and compare. you might not tell the difference.
