Best Fiber Optic cable for my H701?

Any old cable will be fine. Monster is over priced. And you will most likely hear no difference between them and a 10 dollar cable.
there's a huge difference if you have a quality set of speakers to hear the difference...

of course in a great acoustical environment like my recording studio the difference is night and day between a cheap thin hosa litepipe cable vs the apogee... the apogee is much more open sounding with ease, wider dynamic range, dead quiet... i've a/b'd the difference with ppl that dont even have a trained ear with my Jbl and Adam monitors... anyone can hear the difference...

in a car stereo environment it MAY not as prevalent but it just may....???

kinda how someone says they have a $10 mic cable and they wonder why their mic does have a open sound vs my zarola cables... wires DO make a difference.

The triple shielded monster cables i have in my truck sound a hell of a lot better than the rca's the installers used not to mention they're -60db rating is great, no more hiss issue or alt noise

I still have to disagree with you on the fiber optic cable.

A digital signal is a digital signal. 1s and 0s are 1s and 0s. It either works or it doesnt.

Any difference you notice is all in your head.

Seriously?

How about the a/b test of monster cable vs coat hangers with rca ends soldered on.

Monster cables are good cables, just wayy to much marketing hype with them, it seems you are one of the mislead believers.

i welcome you to come to my recording studio or i can take you to **** near any major recording studio in the world and the difference in cables is a big difference.

as for monster, i care less about...

but to even think a hosa or philips fiber optic cable sounds anything like an apogee it just shows you know nothing about apogee but i wouldnt expect any of all here to have any knowledge of apogee

as for the SEXY philips optical cables... i have about 6 of um... recording a digital signal or sending a digital signal to a set of my monitors through them vs with apogee wyde eyes... there is a difference in sound. the lowend is tighter, mids are natural and highs are open vs the philips the highend isnt as open. sounds like the tweeters are set to -3... with a cheap *** $4 optical cable the highend sounded like there was a blanket over my monitors.

knowing i have some of the best ad/da converters money can buy i can easily hear the difference. just with we could have the same sound in a vehicles... it would probably cost an arm and a leg. my converters cost me over $6000 on a hookup price

but hey to each his own... ProCo, Hosa, Philips, radioshack or what ever vs zaolla, apogee, gotham, belden or vovox cables...no comparison what so ever. no mater what type of cable

after getting the supposedly 'best'... go out and get some cheap shit and compare. you might not tell the difference.
i was sure i just mentioned that i actually have the philips cables.short runs and 30foot runs... so i've used the cheap and the quote on quote best... there is a difference...optical, xlr, rca, 1/4, guitar cables, patch cables...

pure silver cables //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif gotta love um

i have over $12k worth of speakers in a room that was designed acoustically great. almost 100% flat from 18hz to 20k
