I am looking for a moderately priced double din touchscreen Hu for my 2005 Subaru WRX. I have looked at the Pioneer AVH-P4000 quite a bit and like the functionality as well as the look of the unit. Compatibility with my my amped component speakers in the doors, stocker rears and amped sub in the back.
Fitability in a double din dash without modification
Visuals when music plays (I know the Pioneer does not have this, do other units around this price range)
Safety is also a relative concern of mine. My car is oftern parked in rather shitty areas and it is my understanding the the Pioneer unit does not have any safely fetures to prevent theft i.e detachable faceplates etc. Is this true?
Any other ideas of untis that fall into into the general class of the Pioneer AVH-P4000? I would like some seperate options as to units that compare to this.
