best door speaker for 150 dollars

im looking for the best possible door speaker for 150 bucks

it has to be a 6 1/2 component set and it will be powered by a small amplifier or maybe just the cd player

suggestions?

if your not going to amp components, its not really worth getting them at all

and for 4 bucks more on OCS, you can get the PG RSDs

i'll agree that if you aren't going to amp the comps...it 's not really worth it...you can't get the full potential using the HU power...even a 100-125 2 channel would wrok wonders with a nice set of comps

i did a PG RSD 6.5 comp set off of ebay for $87 shipped and am planning to amp it with a Profile AP600 for around $80 shipped. $170 for a pretty nice front stage is hard to pass up especially if your on a tight budget. either way you go, amping the front stage is a must!

I agree, get an amp with whatever you decide. Especially if they're going with the sub stage in your sig.
