Hi once again,

Well i lost against bidding for the Focal Utopias //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif. but my budget has grown to $500 for componet speakers (6 1/2). Are the Image Dynamincs CXS 64 still the best i can get? What about the Diamond Audio Hex series? The MB Quart Q series? Please remember, while i like it loud i care a lot about sound quality.

Also what ohms do i get, 2 or 4 ohms?

Thanks

i was considering the diamond hex series but I decided to go with a set of cdt ef-61 comps from djdilliondon ... might want to contact him and see what he can do for you....

ps... I havent gotten them yet but the deal that he gave me seemed reasonable

Hands down...DLS Iridium 6.2's Contact Tplaya07
I had the Iridiums, Utopias, S600s, Type Rs, Polys, hell you name it..

Rainbow CMX's win hands down...

but if you can't find a pair in the states, I second the tplaya for the DLSs

okay,
So is there a website for the Rainbows? And where can i buy them

The DLS got a pretty bad rating in Car Audio mag.

Fuk Car Audio mag, I have seen them put Sony comps over Focals and ID comps before..

The DLS's are GREAT!!!

For the rainbows, PM me for the name and company in Germany i got mine from..

How you like those aluminum domes? I havent head the CMX's yet...

You know those alum domes are wicked..

For Rock they practically make my ears bleed.

.. the sound is crisper but not as smooth at the silks..

if that makes any since..

I love my DLS Iridiums, Rainbows "might" sound better depends alot on your install, the top of the line ones def have the potential, they are also 4x-6x as expensive...Dynaudio makes good comps too but also cost more, so does seas. If you got the extra $1000 for all means feel free to try them out, you won't be disapointed.

My Iridiums kick me in the chest and never miss a beat, the tweeters allow me to hear sounds that I never heard in songs before without becoming extreamly piercingly loud while doing it (they do get loud but don't hurt my ears)...and all i did was deaden my doors, I can't imagine having them in a real sealed enclosure like pods.

My only gripe is I now can hear when music is recorded crappy...CD's that I thoguht sounded good before just don't cut it...

**** Car Audio Mag if they dissed the Iridiums....Specs on paper != human ears....Aluminum tweeters will always show more accuracy on paper, but they hurt my ****ing ears.

I got my iridiums for $475 Show me a set of rainbows thats going to beat that for the money....
