Best component amp for CarPC

I've been out of the car audio scene for some time now. I am looking for a well-rounded amp that will provide plenty of power to my four 6.5 door speakers and a set of tweets up front. Right now they are stock but looking to upgrade those later. I don't really want to base the amp off what speakers I get either. I have no headunit, only a in-car PC and plan on using it as my "equalizer" as well (Open to suggestions on this too). My budget is around $500 for a good amp. However, I was thinking about a Sundown 100.4. I'm not looking to win any competitions but I want to be decently loud but most importantly, clear. Sound quality is my biggest concern.

Thanks everyone!

What kind of preamp output does your CarPC has? Stereo? 5.1/7.1 Surround sound? From experience the preamp outputs from a PC is usually really weak, like 1v peak-to-peak whereas most decent headunits have 4v or higher.

You'll most likely need a line driver for your CarPC, this is where those half-DIN preamplifier/EQ comes into play.
