Best cdplayer for longgg tracks?

Hi, I have had problems with playing cd's with long continous tracks (30 minutes or more)

Are there models that should handle this better than most? And how to look at specifications for info on this?

Also more generally, what are the most robust cd players, that will play anything, badly burned cd's etc. And again, how to look at the specs?

Any suggestions are welcome

Have you considered ripping this track and converting it to mp3 and using that with a mp3 head unit? I don't think many of us will have had any experience with tracks over 30 minutes long. Even comedy cd's and books on disc etc use different tracks every few minutes to seperate chapters and sections etc.

Yes I'm doing mp3's but would like to avoid it.

Music is strange :) all kinds, jazz like, probably most wouldn't like it. Also often home produced noncommercial stuff, not always the best media.

what kind of decks have you been using?
Not the best quality I'll admit. Problem is I'm lost when trying to look for specifications for this. And not much help from dealers either.

I know this is not the most usual question, just hoping for some info

I love Olivia Munn. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

What does the length of the track have to do with playback? If it plays a 1:00 track well, it will play a 59:00 track well. And FYI, quality of the burn(source) usually determines quality of playback
