Best buys in 12" Subwoofers

you haven't given us one piece of useful piece of info on how to help you except that you want 1 12" sub
I still need an amp for it as well, so nothing much to go on. Just getting recommendations as I go since I'm a noob at all this.

ok...we need to know budget, space you have to work with, what kind of power do you think you will be going with, and more importantly do you say you prefer SQ because you think that's what you really want or you think perhaps that everyone should be aiming for that in their system. You never know if sometimes down the road you want chest pounding bass and end up hating your sub.

I'm throwing it in the trunk of my 1999 Maxima SE. No idea on power yet, I haven't even asked about amps for subs. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

As far as SQ/SPL, I mean, I want to feel it, but I just want my songs to rock out without the sub overpowering the rest of the music. I'm not trying to win any competitions, just have a pretty nice *** system. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

it's still best to know generally what power you might go with since you will need to know if your electrical can handle it or if you will end up upgrading. If you want SQ then i would suggest looking into upgrading your front stage and head unit first. The sub stage is not that important in the overall scheme of a good sounding system

Are your speakers stock?
I have some Rainbow Germs that I'll be installing in the front doors in the near future. Currently looking at that MB Quart DSC4125 to power them, though I'm of course open for other recommendations. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Deck is a Kenwood KDC-X993. I have no idea what to do with the rear speakers yet!
