best 'big amp' question

of all the big amps available, old and new skool, which is the best? best meaning reliable, big power, little drain on electrical etc, overall which amp is best, maybe even the top 3 in your opinion. 1500 wrms and above only. reason i ask is im loveing my 2500d, and curious if there is an amp out there that is way better?

I like my Visonik 4000xd's....They're a little quarky but once you figure out how to feed em power they just pump out the power. Probably the best bargin high current amp out there, you can get em from $350-450 used.
