Best Bang for Your Buck 12

So right now I have a 12" Diamond D3 in a prefab ported box. I've got a RF 1050S running it that makes 1050 watts at 4 ohms. Today the D3 started getting a little stinky, so it's time for an upgrade.

I've been out of the loop for awhile. Basically I'm looking for a 12" sub that works well ported, will handle 1050w, and cost 200.00 or less. Do care too much about sound quality, just want it to be significantly louder than the D3.

So far what I've thought of a Kicker L7 12 or a Type R 12 (would it even be much louder?)

Any ideas?

I really like that idea especially if I can get one used here on the forums.

I know the amp is way too much for a D3 but normally I keep it down and can tell when the sub has had enough. Today I was rolling down the highway with my windows down and got a little carried away..

That's what I've always read but I still wonder how much better it can be then the D3. I do like the idea of getting two Type R's ported, I think because of cone area alone it would stomp an HDC3.

As much as I hate to say it it looks like the D3 took a complete ****... So now I'm looking for something around 125.00 to replace it.

Out of these, which one would be the loudest?

type r out of those 3. Or bstock VVX or bstock sa's if u can find one.

After doing some searching I may have found a couple of Lanzar Pro 15s for trading some of my old crap.. I know it's a low level sub but in a big ported box I think it will slam. They are already louder in a **** falling apart sealed box than my D3. Something around 6 cuft tuned around 30hz..

don't talk about what you do not know. the hd3c will not. I know I've actually owned both.
