Best Audio System for my car (2001 Honda Odyssey)

I'm looking to improve the audio in my 2001 Honda Odyssey. I kind of know what I'm looking at, but I don't understand all the ohm, hz, watt, bridging, stuff.

I'm planning on folding the backseats down so I have a lot of room to work with. It's around a 3x3 foot cube of completely free space to work with.

The speaker sizes are 6-3/4" in the front and 4" in the back. I want to replace the factory speakers, get a new head unit, and use the rest of the money for subs, additional speakers and amps. I'm looking to spend $500-$750 in total. What would be the system that delievers the cleanest, loudest, and most powerful sound?
