Best and Cheapest Amp for a MTX Road Thunder 5500 2OHM Subwoofer?

Hey guys , i have a MTX RoadThunder @ 2OHMs instead of at 4 on 2 channel amp and needless to say it sound very crappy! Im not to good at car audio but am learning please bear with me! What kind of amp would push my 12' MTX Road Thunder 5500 2 Ohm Sub the best? its 300Watts Rms and 700 Peak Power! Please help! any amp that does ~300 watts rms would work fine.... i like the Kicker ZX 400.1

Are you that is a 2 ohm sub? I didnt think there was a 5500 at 2ohms. If you have a 4 ohm sub then you want to have it bridged at 4 ohms on your 2 channel amp to get the most out of the amp and sub.
