power cable - $1.10 per ft. You'll probably need 15 or so feet for the main run, and then 7-10 feet left over for the under-hood work.

Fuses, fuseholders, etc...these can be found at places like http://www.darvex.com

Optima Yellow Top - I paid around $160 for mine at a local auto shop, they even installed it because I was feeling like a lazy *** that day. Now that I mentioned "Optima", supa_c will come on and tell you how it's overpriced and not worth it. But that's OK, because he's right //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Battery isolator - technically, if you have two identical batteries, they don't need to be isolated, but if you want a dedicated starting/engine off reserve battery, they do. Find these at a local auto parts store, or online.

don't forget the cost of the MDF if you're going to build your own box...that's going to need a lot of wood //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

yeah but they look cool

Im sorry dbfan but jbl>avionixx.....the quality on avionixx amps ****.

To the poster, This is what i personaly would do.

JBL BPX2200.1 (2200@1-4ohm)

Wires and crap $80-$100 (upgrade magic 3 to 4g)

250amp alt- Around $350

And a yellow top under the hood-$160

as someone who's installed and worked on both (i used to have a 800.2 in my setup, and have installed friends' 1200.1's and 300.1's), Avionixx amps are actually easier to use than JBL's, for the simple reason that the crossover design is better.

Power-wise, they're both pretty underrated, but I wouldn't go so far as to say either of them "****".
