Best amp to power 2 tempests...

The tempest is a 750RMS DVC sub... i think it's 4 or 8ohms...

so what would be the best amp for 2 of them? I don't want to go above 600watts...

mabye a JBL 1200.1 or something else? Preferably with a built in subsonic filter..

well a JBL doesnt have a SSF. U need to know if ur subs are 4 ohms or 8ohms. This makes a big difference. And what is ur price range

ported and tuned preferably to 28hz...

i also need to know what to set the subsonic filter at and i still am not sure how big my enclosure should be or the port dimensions...

i'm a little lost, all i want are 2 tempests, but i don't know where to get started

No need for a subsonic at that tuning... get an MTX 8100D or the new 1501D.

as others alread said u wont need one because ur tuning the box real low so bass notes in music wont make ur subs damge themselves.

Id go with a hifonics or something that does 1400 watts. a JBL will be good enough it will do 1300+ watts at 1 or 2 ohms.
