Best amp for...

a PG 600.1 would work match up pretty nice for both those subs... all pg xenon 600.1's do 800+ watts in (1-4)ohms

thats about 400rms per sub which would be good

Hifonics has a Suggestion of .5CUF with loose polyfill. So, I'm already bringing it up .25 which I will be putting more polyfill than suggested. And these are 350WRMS, would bringing it to 400WRMS each, in a sealed box, torcher them?

I have an amp that I will be using temporarily until I can get a suitable amp. It's a Splash Neon 300W MAX 2 ch. 2 OHM stable, so I'll be bringing the subs to 2OHMS to give them just a little more power for the time being.

its .5 cubes PER sub.. you said you have 2 subs. The MA audio prolly only puts out 700 rms even though it says 800 rms they tend to overrate things so you would be safe. The Neon amp you said you had prolly does a whole 75 rms x 2.

I actually looked up it .. the splash neon you have does 85 rms x 2 @ 2ohms. BUT those are single 4 ohm subs so you cant bridge it to them unless you bridged at 8 ohm. So they would have to be hooked up to each channel seperatly @ 75 rms x 2 @ 4ohm. If you bridged that amp to those subs to a 2ohm load.. it will kill that amp as its not 1ohm stable.

this is what i found..

http://www.justamps.com/Amp_Pages/DISC/Splash/splash_neon.htm

you are welcome to bridge it to those subs @ a 2ohm load as its your equipment.. just trying to give you the heads up.

even if you could get your full 170 rms out if your bridged power.. split between the subs thats 85 rms per sub.

The MA is rated at 800 rms @ 2ohm but lets say it puts out a realisic 700 rms @ 2ohm.. split between the subs thats 350rms per sub perfect amount for them.

If you don't like the MA audio amp let me know what kind of budget you are looking at for an amp and I can try to match one to it I don't mind trying to find you one you like.

I'm not trying to disprove you, but I had it loaded at 2ohms bridged with 2 old ass Pioneer 12's.

Also, THANK YOU! I've been looking for this page for a while, 'cause I have a friend with the 802 and wants to know the rating of it.

Recoil 2500.1 $179 2500 x 1 @ 1 ohm. Make sure subs are the dual 4 ohm version. If you don't want that much power, get the Recoil red1200.1 for 1...

Have an Xli 2500 as a sub amp in the music room, overkill for sure, never overheats, never skips a beat.
