Best amp for under $250 for one Sundown X-15 sub, also what kind of box?

Hey guys so i'm trying to find a budget build, so far i was thinking about 2 SA 12's but now i just recently heard about the Sundown X series so i decided to try that instead since they hit lower than the SA 12's (i think?, correct if wrong), i'm not going to get an amp that will max an X-15 D2 (yet) since that would be out of my budget, but for now i was considering a Hifonics Brutus BRZ1700.1 since it's only $200 on onlinecarstereo, and since these subs are rated pretty conservatively (1250 RMS), i can still easily give full power from this amp, probably around 1500 watts at 1 ohm clean power? (car is on stock electrical, but will do big 3 if needed). Any other suggestions for good amps in the Dimensions of TL '04-'08 TL trunk. - AcuraZine Community

lol the X series will take more then 1500rms. i had 1 zv3 18 and had it on a crescendo bc3500 @ 1 ohm and it loved it. and the zv3 18 is rated for 1500 rms.

another decent option would be the new Pure audio PA3000.1s you can always set it to do lower power if you want. but they are rated 3k @ 1ohm & they are $280 shipped from Xplicit audio with 1yr warranty. you can use google to find them online

Go with this option, its enough power and its a very affordable amp. That sub will love it. Make sure to beef up that electrical too!!

if you cant do 280 shipped. a good choice is a planet audio bb2400.1. on ebay for 245 shipped

thanks for the suggestions so far guys, im looking for something around the 1500 rms range though because im not sure my stock electrical can handle much more than that, and since im on a low budget i cant currently afford to upgrade my alternator and battery, which i wont do until i get a bit more $$$ //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif so basically just a temporary amp for a few months which is still good/stable at 1 ohm/does rated for around $200 which puts out around 1500, maybe no more than 1700?

Oh, and whos the best guy i can talk to on these forums about building me a good quality, affordable box for this beast?

the brx is the 2013 model the brz are the older model

i know... i just figured it may be a upgraded BRZ with a different case. but if im not mistaking the BRZ also used the AQ2200 board as well

So any suggestions for enclosure dimensions? What should it be tuned at? I play mostly rap/hip hop with the occasional electronic type music, to play daily.
