Best amp for the money

I am sure this question has been asked a million and one times but run a search and I can not fin what I am looking for.

What is the best amp for around 400 bucks (this includes online dealers with 40% cuts on cost under MARP).

I am talking about JL, ALPINE ect, I am not looking for ARC and other high brands.

65w if its clean like the old PC amps from PPI ( I have a 2400 2 that I love)

I have, I just can not make a decisssion.

I get pioneer, MTX, DEI, Kenwood, ORION, PPI, Sony, and some times Rockford wholesale.

I just don't want to get the wrong amp and be unhappy.

Are the JBL's any good still? I have not heard about then in a long time.

still good. the power series are made by crown so they are really nice.
